Problem Solvers by Design
We solve heat transfer problems for some of the most demanding facilities in the country. When something's running hot, freezing up, or just not working the way it should, we're the team you can actually get on the phone.
Easy to reach, easy to work with, and ready to dig into the problem with you.
One Company. Complete Heat Transfer Solutions.
We design and engineer heat transfer solutions built around real-world problems, and we stand behind every one of them. If you need something engineered from the ground up or a replacement that ships fast, we have a team and a solution for that.

The Cooney Difference
Who We Are
01
We Solve Problems
We don't sell parts. We solve the problem in front of us. Every engineered solution Cooney designs came from a real customer with a real failure, and that instinct still drives how we engineer and show up today.
02
We Make it Simple
No two projects are the same, and we don't treat them that way.
We adapt to what you need, we explain things in plain language, and we cut the jargon and red tape that slow other companies down.
03
We Keep You in the Loop
We're a partner who shows up when you need us, whether that's a call, a text, an email, or meeting you in the mechanical room. If an estimated ship date slips or a something changes, you'll hear it from us.
No surprises.
The Team
A Team Worth Calling.
When something goes wrong at your facility, you don't get a ticket number and a queue. You get a person who picks up, knows the product, and owns the problem until it's solved. The engineer who designed it, the inside sales rep who quoted it, and the person tracking it to your dock all work in the same building and talk to each other.
That's the standard everyone here is held to. It's also why the team keeps growing without losing the thing that made it work.

Our Story
It didn't start with a product.
It started with a problem.
Our founder, Bob Cooney, didn't see coil failures from an office. He saw them in the field, standing in mechanical rooms, replacing frozen and ruptured coils and the damage they left behind. Over and over.
When a customer challenged him to build something better, he went back to first principles. Using a background in pipe freezing and valve engineering, he studied the physics of coil freezing from the ground up and built Freeze Block®. Climate-room tested to -74°F. Wind tunnel tested alongside leading engineers in the industry.
Demand for Freeze Block® grew into a nationwide rep network of problem-solvers who believed customers deserve more than a standard replacement part. Princeton University helped develop the first Smart Coil. Cornell University work led to the Thermo-Pack™ heat exchanger.
That instinct, to solve the problem instead of accepting it, is still what every person here runs on.
