DX coils — also called direct expansion coils, refrigerant evaporator coils, coil evaporators, or simply evaporator coils — move heat by boiling refrigerant inside the tubes. Get the tube size, wall thickness, and circuiting wrong and the system never performs the way it's supposed to. We build them right.
